Dr. Holly Richter, MD, FAAP

About Dr. Richter
Dr. Holly Richter has cared for children and families for 27 years. She earned her medical degree with honors from the University of North Carolina School of Medicine and completed her pediatric residency at the University of Arizona. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics, which is what the FAAP after her name stands for.
Before moving to Utah, Dr. Richter spent most of her career in Fayetteville, North Carolina. She founded and ran her own pediatric practice there, caring for patients in both the clinic and the hospital, and later served as Chair of the Department of Pediatrics at Cape Fear Valley Health System. She has also taught pathophysiology to nursing students as an adjunct professor at Fayetteville State University.
Today, Dr. Richter is semi-retired and sees patients part time at Heber Valley Pediatrics. She joined the practice because she loves being a pediatrician and wanted to keep caring for kids and families while enjoying a mostly retired life.
